After much hype from friends, coworkers, my spouse and family I have finally given in to the pinnacle of sweetwares -the original glazed Krispy Kreme doughnut. I have to agree to the experience resembling ‘eating a cloud’. They are sweet, melt in your mouth and go down extremely well.
I’ve managed to hold out this long due to lack of nearby store locations. My weakness was the fact a bloke at work brought some in for a fundraiser. I figured ‘Hey it’s for charity‘ and starting mindlessly munching.
After eating this evil pleasure you have to ask yourself, ‘How unhealthy is this for me?’

Besides the copious amounts of Krispy Kreme stores in the United States and Canada many franchise owned stores are operating in the United Kingdom, Kuwait, Mexico, South Korea, Hong Kong, Indonesia, The Philippines, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The first Krispy Kreme store to open outside North America was in Sydney, Australia in 2003.
Within NSW, VIC and ACT there are now 44 stores and in QLD one is opening soon (Is Albert St open now?).
